This estimation calculator is provided to give the operator some idea of the impact of drawing the fluid level down from it's present level to 100' above the formation top. The simple addition of a surface controller which accurately reads the fluid level, and maintains fluid at the proper level, may accomplish this production increase and save operating costs at the same time.This is the most basic of Production Calculation methods and should only be regarded as an indicator of production increase possibilities. We have developed the only instruments which can accuratly read the fluid level from the surface on many complex wells.

Analysis of ORIGINAL EXAMPLE calculation; If a Fluid Level Well Controller were placed on this well, maintaining the fluid top at 100 feet above the perforations, the present production would more than double. The financial benefit described above is achieved by allowing the well to function safely and efficiently at a fluid level only 500 feet lower than the present level. This increased efficiency often results in an average savings of 20% or more in operating expenses.
